During the day the platforms are restricted to the coastal edge and act as a filtering system in the water. The platforms during the day have the potential to act as fishing, diving, or casual lounging areas. During the night the platforms become a connection to the center of the water allowing the public to come aboard and interact with others in a free manner.

The platforms need a certain amount of people (4) to detach from the island in order to return back to the shore.
